La Ferme de Travorche (France)

The construction of the new production site for The Travorche Farm (FR) started in 2022. The Travorche Farm, specialist in cutting and processing poultry and pork, needed a functional and environmentally friendly new production area that would seamlessly integrate with the mountainous landscape of Monts-du-Ferez and Monts-du-Lyonnais. 

To ensure an energy-efficient and optimally insulated building envelope the end client opted for the Isocab by Kingspan Industrial IND sandwich panels. These panels showcase a lambda value of 0.020 W/m. K while their reaction to fire was classified as B-s1, d0 for thicknesses of 60 to 220 mm  (EFR-21-000083Z) following the EN 13501-1 : 2018, hence safeguarding a high level of fire performance. 

Isocab By Kingspan offers a wide choice of coatings and finishings, both in terms of performance as in terms of colours. Fairly new in the coating range is the Woodlook coating. A coating that is simultaneously adapted to the farm’s activities and its environment, and visually fits within the context of the farm.

1 147 m² of Industrial IND insulated panels as follows: 

• 286 m² of façade panels, 120 mm thickness, with our Woodlook coating,

• 348 m² of ceiling panels, 120 mm thickness, in white,

• 513 m² of partitional wall panels, 80 mm thickness, in white.

We also provided the steel finishing profiles which FROIDCONFORT installed, and which serves as a finishing touch, adding to the elegance of the building.

Key partners:

Our customer, installation contractor FROIDCONFORT, oversaw the installation of the insulated panels on site. FROIDCONFORT is based in Saint-Martin-en-haut (near Lyon in France) and has been an essential partner for the realisation of this project. The contractor applied its vast expertise in the cooling and freezing sector for this project. This resulted in an optimally insulated, airtight building, ready to serve as a production area for the end client.
