Maintaining a maximum flexibility for their customers and a precise management of operational complexity is their key feature.

The Project

Poco Loco - a PAULIG-group division -  with more than 20 years of experience in the production of a range of Tex-Mex products, needed to expand their warehouse facilities and built an automated high-bay warehouse for the storage of their tortilla flours and chips.
With this expansion of 15000m² the building can accommodate 42,000 pallets. We are proud that they used our IND QuadCore panel for this  ... we added a little crazyness to Belgium!

Less CO² emmisions

The new high-bay warehouse makes it possible to largely centralize the distribution activities and the supply of raw materials. The logistics building has been built in the immediate vicinity of the production site and is connected to it via a bridge over the road. Via automatic transport conveyors in this bridge, the warehouse and the production halls are connected: the raw materials are brought from the warehouse to the production lines, as well as the finished products from the production to the warehouse. Thanks to this physical connection between the two sites, 25,000 truck journeys can now be saved. It is expected that a CO² reduction of 365 tons per year will be realized.
