Fire Performance

High levels of fire performance with our global solutions, including our Decaroc and QuadCore IND panels and our flat roof solution.

• As far as fire performance is concerned, QuadCore insulating sandwich panels with insulating core, although considered as "combustible" and low contributing to the flashover phenomenon according to their reaction to fire classification B-s1, d0 (60 - 220 mm) (EFR-23-003781-B) according to the Euroclasses of the European standard EN 13501-1 : 2018, prove to have in fact a high behaviour to fire and above all do not propagate fire.

• A resistance to fire propagation of 1 hour (EI60 for 200 mm) (report 19610C) following EN 13501-2 : 2023.

• This panel has the particularity of emitting almost no smoke when in contact with fire, and retains its integrity for up to 1 hour.

• Our panel is also approved by insurers according to FM Approved standards. QuadCore IND Insulated Panel has an FM Approved 4880/4881/4882 class 1 rating and unlimited height (40 - 220 mm).

Fire performance with Decaroc insulated panel

• Decaroc insulated panel with mineral wool insulation core is the ideal choice as a fire resistant partition solution due to its high reaction to fire and resistance to fire characteristics. 

• It has a reaction to fire rating of A2-s1, d0 from 60 to 300 mm (RA21-0175) following EN 13501-1 : 2018 and a fire spread resistance of up to 240 min : (EI 240 : 300mm for vertical installation up to 4m span & horizontal installation up to 5m span (RS18-007_v2) following EN 13501-2 : 2023).
